My freaking sweet blog: April 2005

Today...

Was pretty sweet. The last while has kind of sucked, but today was good.

1) I slept in through Psych. I needed that badly, and it felt GREAT.

2) I got back a test from Soden that I took a week ago. I got a C on it. Why would I be excited about a C? Perhaps because when I was walking over to take the test, I knew that I was going to fail it. I knew it. So that C felt pretty great.

3) I got to see alot of Jenn. Which was really good. Really.

4) I had an interview with Josef and Jocelyn, the SGC (Small Group Coordinators) in Stewart next year to see if they thought I would be a good SGL (Small Group Leader). They did. That felt awesome too.

5) During my interview, Jenn called me to inform me that both she and Nilt were stuck at Northtown Mall, and they needed a way to get back. Which meant that I got to ask David if I could drive his camaro.

6) He let me drive it. Gosh, it feels so good to drive that car. Just starting it up is a slice of heaven. Or at least a really big kitty that PURRRRRRS. A lot.

7) When I got to the mall to pick them up, Jenn had bought me a Cinnabon. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

And only 1 SUCKY thing happened today. The team that didn't show up to play the semi-finals against us last Tuesday didn't show up again. This time they are OUT. WE ARE IN THE FINALS! GO TEAM!!! WE KICK BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!

In honour of Brent...

I shall make a new post. Lets see, where to start?

How about with this slammer: Today around 2:00 pm my laptop, power cord and carrying case were stolen from my room while I was eating lunch. How freaking sweet is that? Not very. Not only was it very costly, it also had my 5 page paper on it that is due tomorrow, as well as 2 study guides (filled out already) for tests I have on wednesday and thursday. This one sucks big time.

So in about 30 minutes a friendly police officer will be stopping by (he was here earlier but had to leave for a nearby car-jacking) to check out my room, possibly take finger-prints and give me a case #. Which is good, because with the case number I can get money back from my parents insurance. WOOOOOOOOO. Personally, I would rather have the money. Seriously. I have complained SO many times about this laptop crapping out on me. Oh well. I just wish they had stolen it this weekend, after my tests...

In other news, there is about 1 month left in school. Summer plans: working at a rest home and getting NAC (Nurses Aide Certified) in hopes of being a Whitworth Medic my Jr. and Sr. years. Unless I can pull off getting RA for next year. Which reminds me, I really need to get on that now. They re-opened the pool for male applicants, so I decided to apply. I have until tomorrow to write a few essays and... stuff. It won't be horribly, but there is some good thinking involved here.

Oh... this Wednesday will be Jenn's and my 5 month mark - which is pretty sweet. Whats even sweeter is that the last day of school is our 6 month. I think its a pretty good way to celebrate...

On to RA application...
